The company started in 2017 in Key West, Florida (also known as "The Conch Republic). For anyone familiar with Key West, it is known for its beautiful waters as well as the bars and nightlife. The "National Sport" of The Conch Republic is drinking! 🙂 Living in the drinking capital of the US, we quickly realized that hangovers are a problem for everyone. Nothing spoils the party more than knowing you are going to feel miserable the next day. With this in mind, we sought a solid, scientific solution for the dreaded hangover. So, we started experimenting with different products and ingredients to obtain the best hangover results. There are many gimmicks out there to "cure" a hangover, but very few actually work....at all. There were drinks and vitamin pouches claiming to get the job done, but they all fell short because anything taken orally can lose 75% or more of the benefit through the digestive tract. They also took way too long to offer any real "cure" to the hangover. We needed to create something that was simple, safe, healthy, and effective for everyone. And a solution that actually PREVENTED the hangover from happening in the first place.

Our Roots

My entrepreneurial journey began in Central Florida, where I grew up working in the motorcycle industry and helping run my family’s business, Motorcycle Clinic Inc. In my early thirties, I relocated to Key West, Florida—a vibrant city famous for its beautiful waters and lively nightlife. While enjoying the local scene, I quickly realized that hangovers were a universal struggle for locals and tourists alike. As I navigated my mid-thirties, I noticed the recovery process was much harder than it used to be.

Determined to find a real solution, I began researching and experimenting with different ingredients to combat hangovers effectively. Once I discovered the optimal formula and partnered with a reliable manufacturer, Booze Bandage was born. What started as a grassroots effort—handing out patches to friends around town—quickly grew through word of mouth into the brand you see today.

We wanted a solution that was simple, safe, and highly effective.

Extensive research shows that alcohol consumption rapidly depletes the body’s levels of Thiamine (Vitamin B1). To solve this, we created a medical-grade transdermal hangover prevention patch.
